How to Use
Step 1: This product is a data line interface properly connected to USB port of the computer, the computer display lower right corner should appear device icon.
Step 2: Click on the desktop, open the “my computer”, in “the mobile storage device should display the drive icon”.
Step 3: Click on this icon button, select the “pop in the tray into the appropriate disk read.

The internal laser can be harmful to the eyes and face, please do not open it.
Do not place the machine in an easily accessible location outside the press to ensure the function of the machine.
Please connect the laptop external power supply when you use this external optical drive.
Before you using the External CD/DVD Drive, please make sure your computer has a “Media Player..
If you find the External CD/DVD Drive start out a little slow, please wait for 5-10 seconds..

The box was beat up on the corners and there were dents on the flat side too. Better packaging would have been nice. Shipping was past the stated delivery time, and nearly a month passed before I received the item. VERY SLOW DELIVERY! However, the item itself was undamaged and it works well on Linux.

Ordered on 20 April, arrived a week later on 27 April. Works completely as described. I am using this on my Linux PC and just had to install some extra packages to watch protected DVDs, but otherwise, this just plays after you plug in. Definitely recommend at this price point. The construction seems sturdy too, and it’s lightweight; I like that the cord easily wraps underneath for seamless storage.
