Everything came as ordered. The disc 100% the original, the proprietary utility recognized it, and even the support of the Kingston confirmed that it was original, but it was just similar for the Chinese market. Box clearly went through a traumatic event if it arrived to me with its head bashed in, but thankfully the insides are perfectly intact. I’m using this to replace a super slow HDD. The drive immediately works and is recognized by my PC and I initialized it and created a new Simple Volume: NTFS partition. I cloned the HHD to this SSD via Macrium Reflect and then swapped the HDD out from my PC. Boot up was flawless and everything is exactly where it was originally, but the performance is night and day difference! Everything from booting up to opening applications to uploading content to PLEX server barely slowed it down (my bottleneck here was the Core m3 processor), and it is dead silent. Easy win, assuming this will last for a while (run time will be longer since it’s staying on for server purposes)
